About the book entitled Siddhargalin Thiruvadiyogam (Sahasrara Yogam) The book “Siddhargalin Thiruvadiyogam (Sahasrara Yogam) describes the crown chakra i.e., the last of the seven chakras or energy centers located at the top of the head, representing spiritual consciousness and transformation. The Sahasrara chakra, translates to “Thousand Petaled Lotus flower. The crown chakra combined with the lower chakras makes up the subtle energy system. The Sahasrara is the entry point for human life force (Kapala vayil) i.e. pouring into the body’s energy system from the Universe. The chakra means spinning wheel of energy that runs up and down through spine. Seven chakras in our body have different emotional and physical functions. The Tamil Siddhars, who lived in India during 5th or 6th century, introduced the concept of chakras.
