Mousumi Choudhury teaches Political Science in Diphu Government College, Karbi Anglong District of Assam. Recently, she has published a book on Partition entitled, The Home Torn Apart, Pangs of Displacement and Memory of Trauma, Partition Refugees, Barak Valley of Assam” (Notion Press, 2021) and also a poetry book, A Mirror to the Thoughts” (Writer’s Pocket, 2022). In addition, she has published articles on ethnic conflicts, Partition and forced displacement and gender issues as book chapters and in national and international journals. She keeps interests in music, poetry, gardening and anchoring.
