Dr. Shriparna Mukherjee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany, Prasannadeb Women’s College, Jalpaiguri. She obtained her Master’s degree in Botany with specialization in Microbiology from the University of North Bengal. She completed her doctoral studies in Botany in 2006 from the University of North Bengal. She has done extensive research on the molecular mechanism of bacterial antimicrobial resistance. She has authored several book chapters and presented her research work in India and abroad. Dr. Mukherjee has published her research work in many national and international peer-reviewed journals of repute. Her current research interests include antimicrobial resistance, plasmid biology, and integron biology.
