Viola De Cruz is a writer of humorous tales and personal reflections, some of which are published in her People Watching blog. Originally from Malaysia, she met her husband in England and moved to Chania, on the island of Crete, Greece, in 1983, where she ran an English Language school for 20 years. Besides writing, she enjoys travelling and gardening. She holds a BA in English Literature and a Diploma in Education from the University of Malaya and a Masters in Linguistics and ELT from the University of Leeds.
