The author worked in a bank for more than three decades. He studied literature and used to write articles in Bengali for little magazines in his youth. Being a banker, he had the opportunity to observe many entrepreneurs who grew up in most ordinary families. But what they had in common was courage, vision and tenacity to go forward. They achieved success by pursuing their dream with diligence and determination. It is they who were great inspiration for the author to write about people. He is now settled in Kolkata and engaged in writing novels, memoirs and travelogues in Bengali.
