The “TRADE UNION” represents a collective institutional forum where the workers meet to discuss issues concerning their working conditions, welfare, wages and other matters of common interest. It is through the trade union that workers put up their collective demands before the employer for resolution. Individual issues of workers are also taken up through the trade union. The trade union facilitates the employer also to discuss matters of common interest with the workers’ forum, exchange relevant information before taking final decision.
