Ankita Desai is an emerging writer with a strong interest in psychological and social narratives. Coming from a background in language, communication, and human behavior, she is drawn to stories that explore how silence, conformity, and collective decisions shape individual lives. The Quiet Consent is my first novel. I was drawn to write this story to explore how harm can exist without visible violence, and how silence—when shared—can become a powerful force.
