Astha is an 18 year old student at Delhi University. She is pursuing BA (Hons.) English and is currently in her first year. She is very passionate about reading and writing. This is her first book, and it is very close to her heart because she has been writing this for almost two years and has poured her heart and soul into it.

Born in 2002, she has lived in Delhi all her life. Even though she belongs to a well-off family, she has struggled with negative thoughts most days. Choosing a career was a battle that she has now won, realizing her true desire of becoming a writer. Her family has been supportive of her and she is nothing but grateful for them. Losing and gaining people are just a part of life, which she has realized now, and moved on.

Being diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety at an early age, she didn’t think she would survive for very long, which is often reflected in her early poetry. But she continued to strive on with support from her family and friends, and emerged victorious. She hopes people who are also dealing with mental issues can find the strength in themselves to overcome their obstacles.
