Dr. Abirami V
Dr. Abirami Vetrivel is a highly motivated and engaging facilitator in the learning process. With a doctorate in English Literature and over 16 years of collegiate teaching experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her role. She earned her PGCTE from EFL University, Hyderabad, which significantly transformed her approach to teaching English. Additionally, she is a British Council-trained IELTS trainer, having tutored candidates for more than 14 years. A moderator of the annual Ananta Aspen Emerging Leaders Fellowship at Coimbatore, Abirami has also moderated a successful two-day discussion forum, Thought Dialogue, guiding participants towards greater self-awareness and value-based leadership. Recently, she and her team were granted a UK Design Patent for Portable Smart System for Professional Communication Laboratory by the Intellectual Property Office in the United Kingdom. An ardent follower of the anthropologist Margaret Mead's philosophy, "If children do not learn the way we teach, we must teach the way they learn," Abirami is dedicated to adapting her teaching methods to meet the needs of her students. In her current role, she curates content and drafts collaterals for Kumaraguru Institutions. In her spare time, she enjoys creative writing and practises organic farming.
