Dr. Aveek Chattopadhyaya was born in West Bengal, India on 2 May 1985. He obtained a BTech degree in electrical engineering from West Bengal University of Technology in 2007, and then an ME in electrical engineering from the Electrical Engineering Department of Bengal Engineering and Science University in 2009, and a PhD (Tech) from the Department of Applied Physics of University of Calcutta in 2017. He has authored/coauthored around 50 papers published in international and national journals and conferences. Presently, he is assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering of Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, Kolkata, India. His field of interest includes electrical fault diagnosis, power system protection, power quality, and signal processing.
