The author is an accomplished professional with a Ph.D. in water resources engineering from IIT, Roorkee after earning B.Tech (Hons)(Civil) from the NIT, Rourkela, and M.E. (Hons) from the IIT, Roorkee. With a distinguished career in hydroinformatics, hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, GIS, he authored 6 engineering books and two fictions, Secrets in the Shadows and The Quantum Bridge. A member of the 1990 batch of the UPSC Engineering Services, he currently serves as Member, KRMB, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Govt. of India. With 195 research papers, 1,800 expert lectures, and a legacy of mentorship, he embodies intellect and imagination, crafting both groundbreaking solutions and compelling narratives.
