Maj Gen A K Shori, 1982 batch Indian Postal Service Officer, was on deputation to the Indian Army for 21 years and headed the Army Postal Service Corps as ADG APS from Oct 2011 to Mar 2015, before retiring as Member, Postal Services Board, in July 2016. Gen Shori has attended various training courses in India and abroad, which include IIM Ahmedabad, APPPTC Bangkok, and the Advanced Management Program in Switzerland. Gen Shori is a ferocious reader, enthusiastic learner, social thinker, reputed author, as well as a passionate golfer. He has already authored five books titled:
i) Indian Rajarshi and Greek Philosopher King
ii) Seven Shades of Rama (translated in Hindi as Bhagwaan Shree Ram Ke Saat Roop)
iii) Why We Are Like This
iv) Invisible Shades of Ramayana
v) Akal Bdeee ya Google Baba

The articles written by Gen Shori on social issues are published periodically in newspapers and magazines. He delivers motivational talks.
