George Huenu Wrondimi
George Huenu Wrondimi, born in 1958 in Wamba Village, Papua New Guinea, is a respected academic, civil servant, and community leader. He earned a degree in social work from the University of Papua New Guinea and has over 40 years of experience in government and higher education, including roles at UPNG and PNGUoT. Wrondimi has dedicated his life to empowering youth and preserving indigenous knowledge. His memoir, Between Two Worlds, reflects a life of resilience, cultural pride, and educational pursuit, honoring his mother’s sacrifice and celebrating the enduring legacy of Wamba Village and the Sepik Plains.
