Hari Chandra

Hari Chandra is a software engineer by profession and an introspective observer of life by temperament. Born in Indore and rooted in Gujarati Kutchi heritage, he moved to Mumbai after graduation, a transition that deeply shaped his understanding of independence, belonging, and emotional resilience. Quiet by nature and reflective in spirit, he believes emotions are often felt more deeply than they are spoken. His writing carries this sensibility-measured, layered, and attentive to the silences that quietly define relationships. He is drawn to stories of patience, empathy, and steady love, where growth happens not in dramatic moments, but through consistency and choice. Short Girl on a Long Road is his debut novella, shaped by lived transitions, careful listening, and an enduring curiosity about human connections. His characters often carry depth beneath restraint-individuals who feel intensely, offer stability, and believe in healing through understanding rather than control. Balancing a logic-driven career in technology with a deeply emotional inner world, Hari writes with sincerity and deliberate calm. He values gentleness over noise, presence over performance, and growth over perfection. He believes the strongest journeys are not the loudest ones- but the ones walked with patience, purpose, and heart.
