My name is Ishan Khound who is working as a State Government Employee in Assam. I wrote this book about my mother who worked as a Gazzeted Officer during her service period. Most of the struggles of a middle class working women before the 2000 era go unnoticed. In this regard, I would like to convey my salute to all the working women of that era who used to manage their households, their profession and their individual life. As a son I would like to dedicate this book to my mother.
