She is an Urban Planner and Geographer with expertise in Geographical Information Systems, having managed numerous field projects. She has shared her knowledge with emerging planners and mentored many multidisciplinary dissertation projects. Her active research focuses on integrating nomadic tribes into mainstream society. This is her third book; unlike her first two textbooks, this one is perspective-based. She currently serves as a faculty member at the Amity School of Architecture and Planning, Amity University Haryana. An artist at heart, an educator by profession, and a social worker by action.
