Prof Dr Kamini Prakash Rege

Prof. (Dr.) Kamini Prakash Rege, Professor, Department of Human Development, at College of Home Science Nirmala Niketan, Affiliated to University of Mumbai, India. The Founder member and Joint Secretary - National Committee Early Childhood Association (ECA) and Association for Primary Education and Research (APER) - India. Expertise in the discipline of Human Development, Family Studies, Early Childhood Care and Education, Gerontology etc. Presented several research papers and posters at National and International level. Published books, chapters, as well as magazine and newspaper articles. Guided students for research at Undergraduate and Post Graduate (Masters level) as well as Doctoral level in the area of Early Childhood Education, Parenting, Home-School Partnership, Marriage and Family Relations, Women Entrepreneurship, Gerontology, Innovative Teaching Techniques, Gender Issues, Traditional and Contemporary Family Studies etc. Contributed wealth of knowledge and proficiency to various institutions and organizations as expert, trainer, academician, consultant, resource person and researcher. Holds prestigious positions in the statuary and non-statutory committees within and outside institution. Member of multiple esteemed organizations, such as Early Childhood Association (ECA) and Association for Primary Education and Research (APER) India, HSAI (Home Science Association of India); Bal Shikshan Parishad; ARAHE (Asian Regional Association for Home Economics), International Play association. (IPA), Indian Scientist Association (ISA) etc. Significant achievements: "Shiksha Rattan Puraskar for Outstanding Performance and Remarkable Role in Education /Knowledge Industry" in 2012. "Rashtriya Vibhushan Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement and Distinguished Services to the Nation" in 2014 “Exemplary Contribution in the Field of Early Childhood Education" awarded by Early Childhood Association in February 2019. Felicitated as a Women Achievers on International Women's Day 8th March 2019 at New Rizvi Education complex.
