Rajesh Kumar Sarawgi pursued commerce studies and obtained a bachelor's degree with honors from Sidhnam College of Commerce at Mumbai University. He has an excellent academic record and possesses several professional qualifications such as ACA, ACMA, ACS, and LLB (General) acquired in the mid-1990s. He has spent over twenty years of his career holding various senior executive positions with prominent organizations in India and the Middle East, including Grasim Industries Limited, Hindustan Motors Limited, Essar Shipping Limited, among others. He has also served on the boards of several companies in Oman, including Oman Textile Mills SAOG, Al Khaleej Polypropylene SAOG, Tiffany Foods Limited, and Shafar Group of Companies LLC. Currently, he serves as a director in a specialized oilfield services company, Steamtech & Company LLC, in the Sultanate of Oman.
