Biography

Rajesh Muthuraj
Rajesh Muthuraj is a professional mischief enthusiast, and full-time believer that life is far too short to take seriously. Based in Mumbai, he has spent over 10 years navigating the worlds of writing, content creation, and storytelling, sometimes gracefully, sometimes while tripping over his own imagination. From childhood, Rajesh discovered a superpower: the ability to turn ordinary moments into extraordinary stories. A burnt toast? A culinary tragedy. A runaway kite? The start of an epic adventure. A mischievous student in a classroom? The perfect inspiration for his books. In fact, he secretly suspects that Class 6-B from his stories exists somewhere in Mumbai, wreaking havoc and making life unforgettable. Rajesh is also the founder of Talesmith.in, a hub of short stories that entertain, inspire, and occasionally make readers snort with laughter at inappropriate moments. He believes stories are not just about learning, they’re about laughing, crying, and realizing that spilled chai, broken chalk, and sticky notes have a story of their own. When not writing, he can be found hoarding stationery like a squirrel hoards nuts, talking to his coffee as if it were a colleague, or secretly plotting the next story where chaos triumphs, and the most ordinary character becomes a hero. Fun fact: despite writing about brave teachers and heroic students, he still can’t survive a school assembly without tripping over his own feet, or at least imagining doing so. Rajesh’s mission is simple: create stories that make readers giggle, gasp, and sometimes question why a boy claims his dog ate his homework.
