The author was born in Anandpur village of Rewari district of Haryana. But at the age of five, he moved to Rampur village of Alwar district of Rajasthan. He has been residing there since then. He was brought up in Rajasthan, which is why the fragrance of Rajasthan's soil is present in his regional stories with its strong attraction. During college, he wrote and directed eight street plays. His play "Bas! Zanjeer Badal Gayi" is a famous play. The author is working as a chemistry lecturer in a government educational institution in Rajasthan. This is the author's first story collection.
