When Riya was 8, she started writing poetry on tissue paper when she was getting bored sitting with a bunch of people at a get-together. The passion continued when pain and heartbreak came along the way. Besides being very passionate about science, poetry and writing will always remain the core of her existence. She is 19 years old, and she is studying biomedical toxicology in Canada. When she is not sleeping (which is most of the time), she watches Bollywood movies, listens to Spanish songs, and reads romance books. When she felt like disappearing, she realized that writing was something that made her stay.
