Rm Shanmugam Chettiar, 78, is a prolific poet cum philosopher, editor and translator, with more than ten thousands poems posted online. His poems are read more for bold messages. He has to his credit 38 eBooks, one bilingual book (Hindi/English) and 40 books of poetry. A poem of his has found place in school language book. His book ‘Dumb Intimacy’ has been given literary criticism and reviewed. He had been Joint Secretary and Secretary of Chennai Poets Circle for 7 years. He is a biology graduate and served in the Rubber Board. Native of Karaikudi suburb, in Tamilnadu, he lives with his wife at Chennai.
