Sajal Sharma is an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, UPES, renowned for his expertise in intellectual property law, especially in the niche domain of air and space law. His research explores how intellectual property rights can be protected in commercial activities beyond Earth’s atmosphere, tackling novel legal challenges in outer space. Before joining UPES, he served on the law faculties at Presidency University (Bengaluru), Alliance University, Christ University, and IILS Siliguri. He teaches courses like Intellectual Property Laws, Cyber Law, Air & Space Laws, Company Law, and Statutory Interpretation.
