Her following novels continued this path: Foxglove sheds light on kyphosis, a spinal condition often misunderstood or ignored, while Birds of Paradise explores the test of friendship during war, showing how bonds endure in the harshest of times. Shahnaz draws inspiration from the quiet strength of people around her, especially women who carry untold stories within them. With a background in education and a deep connection to human psychology, she writes not just to entertain, but to heal, educate and awaken.
