Subhasis Biswas is a civil and structural engineer who applies an engineering lens to analyze the "human workforce" as critical infrastructure. Describing himself not as a politician or union leader, but as a "technician in the room," he examines the structural flaws of contractual employment that threaten Indian families. He was inspired to write T.H.A.P. by a colleague named Angshuman. Biswas aims to reframe the struggle of contractual workers from private failure to public debt
