Swapan Kumar Nath was born in a village of Nadia district of West Bengal on 17th December in 1968 in a very respectable family with a highly academic atmosphere. The poet completed his Honours and Master degree in English. He joined as a teacher of English language in Jhapordah Duke Institution in 1997. ( Howrah) At present, he is a teacher of English language of Panihati Tran Nath High School (Sodepur -kolkata-110). Swapan Kumar Nath is a bilingual poet. Mr. Nath has been awarded with national and International awards. He was declared "BEST INDIAN AUTHOR" by Critics Space Journal. His two English poetry books, two Bengali poetry books and a story book in Bengali have already been published.
