Yakoob Valluvangadan, hailing from Areekode, Kerala, is currently with Govt. College, Malappuram. Coloured Euphony is his debut book that lists twenty eight poems, a kaleidoscope of different moods and themes, which hints at the poet's penchant for the cute, the fragrant, the rhythmic, the lonely, the deserted and the unnoticed. He has also a liking for motivational training and is working on a book on self help.
