Dr. Avali Banerjee is an accomplished academician and researcher with a Ph.D. in Engineering (Electronics & Communication) from MAKAUT (West Bengal University of Technology), India, awarded in 2020. She currently holds the position of Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, Kolkata. With a rich professional career spanning over 15 years in academia and more than a year of industry experience, she has made significant contributions in both educational and corporate sectors. Previously, she has served as Lecturer at G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur, and as Manager of Hardware Production at Agape Inc., Nagpur, gaining valuable insights into industry practices and applications. She has successfully led a Minor Research Project as Principal Investigator, sponsored by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India, under the prestigious MRP Scheme. Her research credentials are further strengthened by 1 granted patent and 6 published patents, alongside the publication of 2 academic books. She has authored and co-authored over 70 high-quality research papers in reputed peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings. Her commitment to academic excellence and global exposure is evident from her participation in international knowledge transfer training programs in China and Malaysia. In addition, she has actively participated in numerous Faculty Development Programs, International Conferences, National Seminars, and Workshops, continually enhancing her professional competencies. Her research interests encompass a diverse range of cutting-edge technologies, including Electromagnetic Interference and Compatibility (EMI/EMC), Microwave Engineering, Antenna Design, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Python Programming, and AWS Cloud Computing.
