Dr. Surajit Basak obtained the Ph.D. degree in engineering (Electronics & Tele. Comm.) from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, Howrah, India in 2019. Currently, Dr. Basak is an Associate Professor in the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, Kolkata, India. He has been in teaching and research for more than 1.5 decades at Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, Kolkata. His current research interest is in joint routing and spectrum sharing techniques in multi-hop wireless networks, Physical layer security in Cognitive Radio based device-to-device (CRD2D) networks, Application of AI / ML in 5G based IoT.
