I am the author of this book, which I have written in memory of my beloved wife.
She left me suddenly one day, without saying anything to me. She quietly went away, and I could do nothing to stop her. The pain of losing her has stayed with me ever since. There were so many things I wanted to say to her, so many thoughts and feelings that remained unspoken.
I originally belong to Uttar Pradesh, but I have been living in Delhi for the past fifty years. Delhi has been my home for most of my life.
Academically, I have pursued my studies in Political Science, completing my M.A. and M.Phil. in the subject. I have also completed my LL.B.
The inspiration to finally write this book came from my daughter, Varsha Bharti. She encouraged me to put my feelings into words. She told me, “Whatever you want to say to Mummy, write it in this book and say it to her.”
