Biography

Swastika Upadhyay
Swastika Upadhyay grew up in Hyderabad, India, though her hometown is Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, India. Swastika enjoys reading and playing sports like basketball, Kho-Kho, and dodgeball. She is a trained classical singer and dancer and began learning karate at the age of four. Her passion for reading and storytelling led her to write ‘Chorus of the Sea’, a tale inspired by her love for fantasy—especially mermaids, her favourite magical beings. Swastika dreams of becoming an author, a singer, a dancer, and a sportswoman (among many other things!), and hopes her stories bring joy and inspiration to readers of all ages.
