Tejaswini Thalyari is an eighteen-year-old Indian writer. Being an army officer's daughter, she has been raised across different states of India and she grew up learning that every place leaves something behind and takes something with it. Her writing explores themes of memory, friendship, belonging, and the quiet ache of nostalgia. Hiraeth, her debut novel, reflects her fascination with the people and places that continue to live within us long after we've left them behind. She is currently working on her second novel.
