The author V.Subramanian worked as a Deputy General Manager in Syndicate Bank until his retirement in March 2018. He served the bank for nearly 40 years and worked mostly in operational areas heading Rural, Urban and Metropolitan branches and Hyderabad (Rural) region. He has won several awards for Business growth, NPA recovery, NPA management, Effective Management of branches and Regional office including the coveted “Best Regional Office” award from the top management of the bank. He recently wrote a book “ Time flies but memories stay” based on his banking memoirs, which received excellent reviews. He is settled in Bangalore.
