Surajit Haldar, an engineer in profession and a freelance writer, is well-known for his philanthropic activities. He has actively helped the farmers, the poor & needy people through different charitable and humanitarian organizations. He is also a nature lover and has been actively involved in many green projects in his profession and outside his profession. Driven by his passion for pollution free earth, lately, he has pledged his five years’ salary to IIT Kharagpur as Shramdaan for encouraging research projects on environmental sustainability.
