Description

The book is an M.Phil dissertation which discusses rural settlement structure in details about the two districts of Patna and Munger District. The use of Nearest Neighbour’s Analysis and other methodologies are used to explain and analyze the rural structure. Besides the village Directory of Census of both the districts have been utilized to understand the availability of amenities in rural areas. Elaborate use of Topographical Map have further enriched the study. This work was done under the guidance of Prof. Sachidanand Sinha , CSRD, SSS, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
