The Kandhas

Mr. Deepak Kumar Nayak is a Lecturer in History and Head of the Department of History at TSD College, B.D. Pur, Odisha. He obtained his Master's Degree in History from Berhampur University, Odisha, with specialization in the Tribal History of Odisha. His academic interests focus on the socio-economic and cultural life of the tribal communities of Odisha. He has contributed extensively to the field through his research and has published more than 50 research articles in reputed national and international journals. Mr. Nayak is also the author of a book on the Bonda tribe of Odisha. He is a life member of the Indian History Congress, the South Indian History Congress, and the Odisha History Congress. Through his teaching, research, and publications, he continues to contribute significantly to the study and promotion of Odisha's tribal heritage and history.
