Chaitanya Agarwal is a retired Ground water Scientist with a DSual Post Graduate Degree in Geology and Remote Sensing respectively from Vikarm University and Roorkee University in 1971 and in 1973.The author has more vthan 40 years of experinence in the field of Groundwater and worked also as consultant and gave more 1000 Hand Pump sites in the Hilly Terrain of Uttarakhand .He has published more than 25 and technical papers on the various aspects of Groundwater. He has widely travelled to varipous countries of Europe, United States etc. He has published more than 14 books on various social themes along with on Groundwater.
