Rev. Fr. Dr. Shibu Varghese Palayathil Chacko (Fr. P. S. Varghese) is an educationalist, author, poet, and social visionary with over two decades of experience in education and peace-building. He is the Executive Vice Chairman of Christian College of Engineering and Technology and St. Thomas College, Bhilai, and former Founder Principal of M.G.M. College, Dimapur, Nagaland. He holds multiple Master's degrees in Sociology, Political Science, History, Education, and M.Th. in Missiology, a Ph.D. in Educational Management, and is a certified trainer in Peace and Nonviolence from the University of Rhode Island, USA. He has received several honours, including an Honorary Doctorate from the United Nations University for Global Peace, USA (2018), and the Global Peace Award (2026) from Edwin Incorporation, Switzerland.
