SYNOPSIS FOR NAVA RASA The concept of “Nava Rasa” was introduced by Bharat Muni, in his book Natyashastra. Nava meaning 9, and Rasa meaning emotion, helped the art world explain the complex and intricate stories in a more organized way. However, as with life, it is not possible to feel a SINGLE emotion by itself, even the 9 stories presented here have other emotions woven in them. Like Shringara (love) has sadness in it, Hasya (laughter) also has bravery in it, and so on and so forth. The book is lovingly, a collection of short stories, most of which are based on real-life incidences which happened in India exclusively. Creative liberty has been incorporated into the stories to create some dramatic effect keeping in toe with the actual storyline.
