The Floating Leaf

Description

Sova a young girl of 15, gets married. It was common to be married by that age in those times. She is the leaf that has been plucked from the tree and is now floating through life’s journey . Just as the leaf when it falls from the tree floats with the winds for sometimes until it touches the ground there it is dragged by streams of muddy water, sometimes stamped upon or crushed, but it keeps moving towards an unknown destination. Similarly ,life takes Sova along its path…sometimes floating….sometimes dragging and sometimes stamping upon her…!! In her journey ,the situations she faces, how she navigates herself through the various stages of her life is the story of The Floating leaf. Will this Floating Leaf -Sova find her peace…will she ever root herself or will she continue floating in the life’s stream.
