Arunima K Sinha had attended Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi graduating in Economics with Honours. After completion of Masters in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, she joined the Central Services and was posted in UPSC. She worked in various departments of the Govt of India. She was deputed to the Civil Service College in London as part of Govt. Program. She is married to Sukdeb Sinha , Ex Scientist, Government of India and they have a daughter. AKS is a keen traveller, a passionate cook and an amateur singer.
