Feminism and Beyond

Having a varied experience in professions ranging from government service, to corporate, to entrepreneurship and teaching, Dr. Harkirat Kaur has keenly observed gender stereotyping arising out of inherent conditioning. From the age that one starts understanding the ways of the world, she has questioned the concepts of identity and gender. She has the courage not only to question the notions of patriarchy but also analyze the feminine power struggle related to it. She has completed her post graduation and doctorate in English literature from the SP Pune University and also has a post graduate degree in Business Administration. Her work across multiple disciplines opens up a plethora of experiences which she is currently using for the benefit of underprivileged children of her city. She has also penned her thoughts in the form of articles in various National and International journals and been an active part of various drives and rallies for the benefit of the feminine.
