Essentials of Android Application Development

Mohammed Shameer M. C. is an academician and educator in the field of Computer Science with over eighteen years of teaching and industry experience. He holds Ph. D in Computer Science and is associated with Farook College (Autonomous) Kozhikode, where he is involved in teaching core subjects such as programming languages, data structures, software and mobile application development in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. He has served as a research guide, mentoring students in academic research and project development. His research interests include networking, wireless computing and cyber security. The author has actively contributed to curriculum design, academic programmes, workshops, and seminars. Ms. Mubeena V is an academician and Assistant Professor in the field of Computer Science and currently serves as the Head of the Department of Vocational Studies at Farook College (Autonomous), Kozhikode. She holds a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from MES College of Engineering, Kuttipuram. With her academic and administrative experience, she has been actively involved in teaching vocational and application-oriented computing courses, mentoring students, and coordinating skill-based academic programmes. Her professional interests include application development, emerging technologies in computing education, and vocational training frameworks. She has contributed to curriculum planning, programme implementation, and the organization of academic activities aimed at enhancing employability and practical competence among students.
