Population Health And Regional Development : Issues And Challenges

Sharmistha Mukherjee is Associate Professor, Department of Geography, P.D.Women's College, Jalpaiguri. S.Mukherjee is a doctorate from Jawaharlal Nehru University in the year 1998 under the supervision of Prof.Sachidanand Sinha. Her area of interest is health care studies , health inequalities, social geography and regional studies. She worked as Project Associate in National Institute of Public Policy (NIPFP) under Prof.A.L.Nagar . Dr.Mukherjee taught in Department of Geography, P.S.B , Government College , Shahpura , Bhilwara from 1999 till 2002.

Sriparna Sarkar is Associate Professor, Department of Geography , P.D.Women's College, Jalpaiguri,since 1991. Ms.Sarkar did her studies from Presidency College and Masters from Calcutta University. Ms .Sarkar has keen interest in Geology and Geo morphological Research.
