Description
The purpose of this book is to provide a clear, foundational understanding of infectious diseases; how they spread, how they can be prevented, and how medical teams approach their treatment. This is not a clinical manual for diagnosing or treating patients. Instead, it is designed to demystify the science, explaining how infectious organisms are identified, how therapeutic drugs are utilized, and how prevention strategies are planned and implemented. My inspiration for writing this book stems from more than three decades of classroom teaching, laboratory investigations, and collaborative research in many fields of Applied Sciences.
