The Tamil people are the proud inheritors of a rich cultural heritage nourished over several millennia. Manifestations of the heritage are showcased mainly in the temples that dot almost every locality of that province. Though it is humanly impossible to cover all of them, this heartfelt effort covers some important landmarks of that sacred soil.
